An action initiative of Phoenix Voyage

Funding for your Phoenix Center

The initial funding for the “core Phoenix Center” infrastructure will be 100% funded by your sponsor or Phoenix Voyage International. A budget is also included in the core package to support a core management team for six months. Profits from the revenue generating business will be structured to pay salary and optional projects. Support for fundraising and creative finance will be ongoing by the Phoenix Voyage business team.

1. Phoenix Voyage Trading Post
We have set up a commodity network to help you raise funds for your center. By partnering with a commodity seller from your country, the Phoenix Voyage Trading Post team will work to close a deal where 50% of the seller side commissions goes directly to your Phoenix Center. To learn more about the Trading Post, go here. Please contact us for directions to get started.

2. Work/Trade
To offset the cost of operations, each Phoenix Center member can exchange time through a barter/work trade program in exchange for vouchers in exchange for fish and vegetables from the green house. The following jobs are some of the positions, which will be available:
• School staff assistance
• Health spa assistance
• Greenhouse assistance
• Library assistance
• Media center assistance
• Playground assistance
• Arts center assistance

3. Donations
Donations are a large part of our focus to offset initial costs.  From solar panels to library books, the Phoenix Voyage Team will work with you and identify companies located in each area who are willing to partner/donate.

4. Partners
Partner NGO’s will also be a key factor for the Phoenix Centers. By networking with other NGO’s, supplies and services can be shared as well as fundraising efforts. Guest experts are welcomed to share their specialty trade knowledge by giving workshops virtually or on site.

5. Barter
Barter/trade opportunity will be available to every Center. The Business Center will be producing products such as dry foods, essential oils, clothing, paper goods, etc, which will be posted on a special intercommunication PV network accessed through the Phoenix Media Center.

6. Fundraising Campaign
List your goals and add to your Phoenix Center website page and brochures with target goal. Non-profit fundraising is all about multiple streams of income. When you put together your annual plan, you need to include as many ways to raise money as possible. You just have to be "smart" about it.

7. Celebrity Outreach
Celebrities have a large circle of friends and associates. A proper campaign with associated celebrity can help raise awareness. Donation checks and celebrity concerts can help to raise funds. Create an outreach plan designed for your Celebrity that includes the cost of your programs and benefit it will have on the community.

8. Grants
Grant writing can be assisted with volunteer support. Seek grants in your area and write a proposal within the budget of the foundations means. See business and group forming options to target specific foundations (i.e.; Women’s Group or Automotive or Performing Arts etc.)

9. Volunteers
Volunteers are valuable! Each volunteer’s time is an equal benefit to both volunteer and organization. Experience is wisdom! Many new programs mandate a volunteer element as a form of both cost saving and citizen empowerment (the citizen technique of the '90s). You can even use volunteers as grant writers: After all, they often have the time and single-mindedness to stick with a task, play telephone tag, and work on building outside support.
