Creative Learning Experience

The Phoenix Centers are designed to be a fun learning experience as well as an experiential learning atmosphere. From helping to build each Center to developing and understanding the community business to acting in a theater production....the Phoenix Centers are meant to inspire community members on all levels!

Basic Education

Each Phoenix Center "core package" comes with an online educational program for ages 5-18. This unique curriculum introduces learning in easy to understand online courses with many choices of subjects to choose from. Course assignments are given to students with a 3 week period to complete them, leaving time management, and responsibility to each student.

We have also included in this package, a student assessment program. For example, if a student would like to be at an "8th grade" level, the program will assess the current level of the student, then it will create a personalized curriculum which will enable the student to get "caught up" to that level.

Areas of learning throughout each Phoenix Center!

Greenhouse - Our educational greenhouse will not only serve as a food center, but also as a learning environment. Vegetable and herbs and fruits will be labeled with a list of vitamins and minerals each has as well as how to cook with them and how to use them medicinally (if applicable)
Art Dome - Students will be given a set amount of time to choose an art project from a list according to age group. See our "arts section".
Health Dome - The Health dome will act as a place to go for minor injuries as well as to learn. Videos will be shown weekly from the library collection ranging from the importance of the immune system to the latest cutting-edge technologies.
Business/Admin Dome - Once a week, students will visit the business dome to understand all facets of their revenue generating business which is required from each Center. From marketing to spreadsheets to production, each student will get involved with the area that most interests them.

Media Center - The central community dome also houses the media center. Students will choose a subject matter in the multi media department according to age group and work on their project in a given time period. Game development, commercials, and musical compositions are among the choices.
Library - The library is stocked with over 10,000 books plus educational DVD's and two research computers. A place to work in silence and develop creating writing skills or just to read in Peace.
Recreational Facilities - We strongly feel that athletics is very important to each student in development of balance, concentration and agility. This applies to all areas of life.

In Partnership with

                                             The Peace School
Our vision is to engage children in the re-enchantment of education and guide them to their highest potentials, through the provision of tools that ignite, unfold and augment their innate gifts and talents. Students explore the world through an inquiry based and experiential infusion of enlightened academics and the Arts, develop at their own rate using their own learning style, and are assessed based on their own capabilities and potential. A key focus of the PEACE curriculum is the environment, our interdependence with all life forms, and creating a self-sustainable community and better world.
