Each Phoenix Center has the opportunity to start Club activities of their choice. All Clubs formed are supported with a section on the Phoenix Centers website to help network with Clubs in others parts of the world. Sharing ideas is important to grow and will even offer new inspirations throughout the global Phoenix Voyage network!

A few Ideas for Clubs in your area
I. Government Society
Each Phoenix Center has the option to build a structure for a government leadership group to engage on local/regional/national and/or global levels.
This option includes
• Understanding the structure and power of government.
• Building a structure for meetings and office space (partnering with the building workshop team)
• Fostering peace, Local involvement, Regional involvement, Country outreach, Global outreach
• Group consists of creating a team of research and support for the elected person.
II. Performing Arts Club
Creating a Performing Arts Group is for all ages. Youth are encouraged to join. An outdoor theatre is standard in each Phoenix Center. If there are serious performing arts interests, this optional component comes with support from partner actors in film as well as theatre. A costume department, drama classes and interactive classroom to communicate with fellow actors within the Phoenix Center families as well as globally will be available thru the media department.
III. Women’s Center
The development of a Women’s center is a community decision. Women’s participation in community decision-making as well as traditional customs and creative thinking and planning can be a powerful asset to any Phoenix Center. The dis-empowerment of women worldwide is turning around. There are many women support groups with creative ideas and share educational information including health, tradition and support groups. Outreach to local community members beyond the Phoenix Center is encouraged.
IV. Astronomy Club
What type of club are you interested in starting? Will you have observational goals or will your targets be random? Will this be a club for the community? Astronomy is important because it helps us understand how our planet functions in relation to the vast universe that surrounds us.
V. Environmental Club
Environment clubs are important; usually they are a way to spread information about environmental issues and can be a source of organizing cleaning up forests, streams, local areas etc. In this article you can learn how to create, and advertise your own environment club.
VI. Garden Club
If you love gardening, belonging to a community of people who share your affinity for digging in the dirt is a wonderful pastime. You can share tips, ideas, seeds and cuttings as well as make new friends and learn something new. Share your enthusiasm for plants and gardening experiences with others in a group.
VII. Artists Collective
An artist collective is a group of artists who work together to achieve a common goal. The common goal is what defines the collective. It can be anything from sharing studio space the cost of materials, to working collectively to inspire socio-political awareness in the community through exhibits and gallery openings.

To start a science club, you need at least one, preferably two or more organizers. This way, you can share the planning and delivery of the club, and your club will be more adventurous and creative, as you bounce ideas off each other.
